BioWhat can I say? I'm a 70 hour a week workaholic whose favorite way to unwind is to indulge in subtext exploiting fanfic...yep, that's right, I said subtext & fanfic, because that's what it was called when it was born to my eyes and I never quite developed a taste for the term femslash :p
Although Xena was my intro into this wonderful online obsession, & I feel that I owe the Xenaverse my sanity for all the wonderful people I've encountered who've given me unquestioning support as I've dealt with accepting my sexuality (Catholic school girl guilt and all), I've found that it's very rare for a fandom to hold my interest once the series wraps.
Outside of The Speed Of The Beat Of My Heart uber series, Xena fic hasn't held my interest for quite a while. Gina Dartt's Just Between series will always have a hold on me, and I constantly check her site for updates, but other than her, I'm also over Voyager fic. So now I'm out there looking for a Law & Order SVU writer that will do the same for me, and so far Livejournal has shown the most promise...lol I may even finally try my hand at writing it...Casey/Olivia fic is still in it's infancy, and all Alex fic just works my nerves.
So that's pretty much the reason I'm here, just trying to find kindred spirits who feel the Casey/Olivia love, who say "what the f***" when somebody dares say there was any chemistry between Olivia & *anyone* else ;)
